Wellie Race 2008 the most successful ever?

The Wellie Race Committee are delighted to announce that Wellie Race 08 will go down as the most successful ever. A staggering €30,000 was raised on race cards and street collection alone on New Year's Day and proceeds exceeded the €40k mark.

Thanks to the thousands of you who turned out to make the day and we are grateful for all participants in both the parade and race.
