Welcome to The Castlecomer Wellie Race

Wellie Race 2008 the most successful ever?

The Wellie Race Committee are delighted to announce that from all indications Wellie Race 08 will go down as the most successful ever. A staggering €30,000 was raised on race cards and street collection alone on New Year's Day and we are confident we will exceed the €40k mark before the Last Supper.

Thanks to the thousands of you who turned out to make the day and we are grateful for all participants in both the parade and race, we apologise for running out of rosettes and we will order extra in the coming month so if you missed out let us know and we will try to get one to you.
